ahab666 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) hello, i ripped some of my brothers DVDs with anydvd hd by just copying the visible files from the dvd to my hdd - about some days ago i stated the build the iso/mds build session - just for using DVD Fab or BD Rebuilder to shrink them to BD25. only with some (2 out of 10) of that ripped files i am getting the "reset cpi flag" message and at each messages end a sync bad=0 .... so here is my question - what is the CPI flag and what's its significance for going further ... okay - b4 you me - i will upload that logs asap .... cheers - ahab666 Edited April 7, 2011 by ahab666

Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 CPI = Copy Permission Indicator It's a flag in certains packets within the m2ts file and it shouldn't be set on unprotected files - which of course is all ImgBurn can deal with. I'm sure you can Google for more info about it rather than me having to and then relay it!
