Osprey Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 (edited) Dunno why I'm having trouble burning files to a dvd rw today. It was fine yesterday. I'm not a *total* newbie to Imgburn, but am far from a pro. I checked FAQ & Guides already. I keep getting a "There is nothing to build" error when I go to Advanced Input Mode, add my files to burn & then hit the Build button. The disc is brand new. At one point, it asked me to format the disc 1st. I'm at a total loss. Edited April 10, 2011 by Osprey
mmalves Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Go to the Options tab of the Build mode, click Reset Settings, confirm and try again.
Osprey Posted April 10, 2011 Author Posted April 10, 2011 Go to the Options tab of the Build mode, click Reset Settings, confirm and try again. Bingo! It works! Thanks! Why did it even *Do* that though?
mmalves Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 ImgBurn didn't do it by itself: you, or someone who used your computer, enabled the Include Archive Files Only, which makes ImgBurn ignore any files that don't have the Archive attribute set, and for that reason it's disabled by default.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Using Advanced mode, it should be pretty obvious when there's nothing to build - the lower part of the screen would/should be empty!
