It's probably just that your machines have different drives. One can burn the media you're using and the other one can't. It has nothing to do with the operating system or the program.

 

 

 

yes different drives but both capable of dvd burningand playing

Your drive don't quite like that discs. 8x may produce a better burn, try it. Cleaning the lens may help too.

 

Get some better discs from Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden, or at least discs that don't use that junk considered CMC MID/dye.
