pstein Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 How do I burn *.m2v files? When I drag such a file onto ImgBurn (in "Write" mode) then the software tells me: "Unsupported file format" How else can I burn it? Can I burn *.m2v files on a DVD+RW medias or is a DVD+-R required?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Write mode is for disc image files. An m2v file is not a disc image file. Use Build mode if you want to put an m2v file on a disc - but just remember that ImgBurn will burn it 'as is' and you'll end up with an m2v file on the disc.
Rincewind Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 What LUK said. If you are wanting to burn an actual DVD-Video disc however, check out DVDFlick to turn your m2v file into the standard VIDEO_TS directory that has VOB,IFO,BUP files inside, and the program is free. That is of course if your intention was to burn a DVD-Video disc. Just making sure to cover all bases.
