Movie Junkie Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Thank you LUK and the rest of the Beta Team members for a job VERY WELL DONE!
nwg Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Excellent new version. I already had success of doing a DL+R using the build function.
photo_angel2004 Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Thank you LUK and all of the testers for the awesome update 2.0 !
dbminter Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 I'd forgotten Mr. Fixer's money maker shaker avatar! Goes well with Kev's in proving to the world that we're all morally corrupt degenerates. Right, Darkfalz?
OAKside Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Great work! Looks like a donation is en route for this one... Thanks everyone. First DVDD then ImgBurn, best free apps of all-time.
Shamus_McFartfinger Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 The build mode is fabulous. Damned handy IMO for an easy way of getting ordinary files onto a DVD for backup purposes.
mukooh Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 luk.....thanks for all the good work on image burn....now and in the future....donation to follow....notice that this version has a splash screen......something the others versions didn't.....sort of kind of annoying.....is there any way to turn in off?....no way to do it in settings.....future improvement?.......
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 6, 2006 Author Posted August 6, 2006 lol they've always had splashscreens. This one just looks pretty. It's not like in other programs though, it's ONLY on the screen whilst doing other stuff in the background. When that's done, it's removed - same as how it's always worked, right back to dvd dec days.
Groundrush Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 (edited) lol they've always had splashscreens. This one just looks pretty. so you do have a soft spot...! Edited August 6, 2006 by Groundrush
itsme Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Yes indeed, a great job and a big improvement. Well done and thank you very much! Now the combination Imgburn and EAC takes care of all my burning needs. No need for anything big and bulky anymore. Two minor things. Using the Build mode, is it not possible to add\remove files to\from folders that were added or rename files "on-the-fly" (in the program window)? Minor issues really, but I'm used to using these options and I find them quite handy.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 6, 2006 Author Posted August 6, 2006 No, it was designed to build an image from an existing structure on your hdd. That's how I like to work and that's why I designed it like that

lfcrule1972 Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 lol they've always had splashscreens. This one just looks pretty.
