hi im having problems burning an iso Ive tried 2x 5x and 8x on 8 it burns all the way but it stops at the end. Please help here is the log..

You can pick any speed you like from the list but the drive will only ever burn at 2.4x on the media you're using.

 

SP1 and SP2 for Windows Vista have been out for years, is there any specific reason you aren't running one of them (SP2 ideally) ?

2.4x is the only available option and as that one doesn't work, your option is to get some better quality discs, like Verbatims.

You don't need to try anything, you've only ever been burning at 2.4x and clearly it doesn't work.
