kichigai Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 i have used any dvd dvd to rip to hdd. i hsve read the guide and the problem im having is that, im trying to burn to verbtim bd-re but when i calculate the file, it says that file is to large 191 in red . is there a way to shrink the file? if so is there a step by step guide on how to do so? i tried searching without luck.....your time and patienceis deeply appreciated thanks
ianymaty Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Probably it's due to the type of formating the disc. A full erase/format with ImgBurn with 'Prefer Format Without Spare Areas' enabled in the settings (Write tab) should solve the problem. After that, don't let other programs (or Windows) to format the disc again. Stick to ImgBurn to do that job if you ever need it again. Post the log as per the pink box above ask if that doesnt get you on the right track.
kichigai Posted May 2, 2011 Author Posted May 2, 2011 how do i erase and format the bdre? i checked the write tab and it was correct 'Prefer Format Without Spare Areas' it is enabled in the settings (Write tab) but still same problem... is it necessary to put the certificate file and the bdmv file in source box per the guide "How to write a Blu-ray Video disc using ImgBurn" step 3d? isnt the cert file in the same bdmv folder heres the log HELLLLPPPP!!!!!!!!!! thank you once again I 20:02:44 ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 You're trying to burn way too much onto a single layer disc. If you want to burn that much onto a disc, buy some double layer BD discs instead.
ianymaty Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Apart of that, your both drives have later firmware releses than you have currently installed. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHAS424%2BB/files.html http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHBS112%2B2/files.html
