bonplay
I have a problem that perhaps someone here can help me with. I have used DVDD in the past with DVDShrink, and from time to time I have burned DVD-R's that will play fine on a tabletop dvd player, but will not play on my PC. Windows Explorer will not "see" the disc. I use Power DVD with a Pioneer DVR-106D drive. I've upgraded to XP Service Pack 2, and still I am not able to play these discs on my PC. Does anyone have any sugestions? Thanks in advance
Shamus_McFartfinger
Who knows? Possibly a codec problem. Unlikely but possible. To find out, grab the K-Lite Codec Pack and install it. Grab it from here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm
Shamus_McFartfinger
Also, grab the latest firmware for your drive as well as checking the ID of your media.
dbminter
Yeah, it's extremely rare when there's a complain of a DVD recordable disc that plays on standalone but NOT PC. 99% of the time, it's always the other way around.
