rew Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 @ LUK I was wondering if you could answer this question I ripped my starwars 3 to my hardisk and proceeded to buld mode now when choosing a layer break position it came up with a gold star at one point and average stars at all the rest but at the gold point the padding size was greater would you not select the position with the smallest padding size as the video buffer would be able to handle this better
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Padding means nothing to the video buffer, it's before the video_ts files even start.
blutach Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 The star system gives you an idea of where the best place to put an LB is. Note - it may not ascetically be the best. The entry cell of a title is the best - you'll never notice it. Then usually comes the VobID change. More info can be found in the technical discussion here. Regards
