The first error is the real/important one.

 

W 14:37:36 Failed to Write Sectors 5888 - 5919 - Reason: Spindle Servo Failure

 

Try the other supported write speeds (note that 8x wasn't one of them in the first place!)

 

Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning discs.

 

Try getting some Taiyo Yuden CDs. (Verbatim Pastel Discs will do - but not any other Verbatim ones because they'll be CMC too)

If you can't get Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim CDs, try with Sony CD-Rs (yellow carton), they've been working great for me.
