Hi, this is my first time trying to burn a DL disc, and I'm having problems....

I've heard I should get Verbatim (or w/e they're spelled) discs as they have the best results, but before I do that I want to make sure there's nothing wrong with my drive....

It's a MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-842S ATA DEVICE according to my device manager. Whenever I write image to disc (after I set the layer thingy according to my .dvd file to 1913760) it gets stuck at "setting L0 Data zone capacity".. here is the log :

and it's been like that for the past 32 minutes...and this is the second time I try this, what am I doing wrong? or can my drive just not burn DL discs? or is this my discs fault and it would work fine on a verbatim disc? thanks in advance for any replies..
