Problem with getting a movie to playback correctly on my TV.

Hi guys,

I've recently bought a Bluray Player from LG and a while later we bought Bluray RW's to burn movies on them and watch them on the TV.

Most worked good but yesterday i tried to get Inception to work. It was a .mkv movie so i converted it to BDMV with Tsmuxer.

After that i burned the BDMV and CERTIFICATE folder on the Bluray with Imgburn. But now, when i put the disc in my computer and play it with VLC Media player it works.

But when i put it in my Bluray Player it does play but not good. I dont know how to explain what happens but i've added some photos and a movie showing you what happens =)

Does someone know what this means?

Thanks!

Greetings,

Jefta,

Yes, i always let Imgburn verify the disc =)

And its weird if the source file is corrupted because on the PC the movie is played correctly but on the Blu-ray Player it isnt.

Also, i tried burning the .mkv movie on the blu ray rw directly without converting it to BDMV. The Bluray Player also played the movie but also corrupted like with the BDMV.

You can't really compare hardware to software, one of them will always be more forgiving.

Hell that's even true comparing software to software.

Rather than (re)muxing the mkv into the BDMV format, see if you can re-encode (so it's actually processed properly) it into a BDMV format instead. (using different tools I would guess)

It might just be enough to sort out whatever's wrong with it.
