Chris Stevenson
I purchased and downloaded Hi-Res albums from HDTracks. I converted the files from Flac to WAV using Trader's Little Helper (no problem here). I then dragged the files from the folder to the "source" box IN THE SAME ORDER AS THEY APPEAR ON THE ALBUM. I am using IMGBurn to burn the DVD-R. When I play the disc in my PS Audio transport, the track order is incorrect. This ONLY happens when there are more than 9 tracks. It's something about the "double digits" that causes a problem. For example: The Who's album Tommy has 24 tracks. I burned them in proper order (from 1 to 24). The result when played back is this "odd" order: 10-19,1,20-24,2-9. This "out of order" sequencing is VERY annoying! What am I doing wrong? Help please. Thanks in advance, Chris. LIGHTNING UK!
The order for files burnt as a data disc comes from the name of the file - and you're in charge of that. Use double digits for all track numbers in the name and you'll be ok. ...and by that I mean 01, 02, 03... 10, 11, 12 etc.
