Rincewind Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I would still recommend following the suggestions in that guide. You can try burning another disc again this time at a faster rate rather than 2.4x, such as 4x. Again though if that fails, the suggestions in that guide is rather helpful.
-Chris- Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 OMG have you read it or looked at the pictures it does not even attempt to burn!!!!
Rincewind Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 (edited) And that guide offers suggestions. I don't know why I need to spoon feed you what the guide says, but if you are having issues burning (and obviously you are), try those suggestions. See if you have the most current firmware version for your burner. I also probably assuming you are not running the latest version of Imgburn or latest service pack for windows, since you decided to not post a full log properly. If those don't work, try getting the suggested discs, Verbatim +R DLs instead of using the MID you are using (RICOHJPN).. If that still doesn't work, then you have a drive that just can't actually burn DL media. Burning DL media is not exactly the same as burning SL media. Edited July 31, 2011 by Rincewind
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 OMG OMG OMG E 17:30:07 Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Failed! - Reason: Power Calibration Area Error It tries to start but you're using cheapo discs your drive obviously doesn't like and it just errors out. Now go and read that thread again - only this time, read it properly. (please, OMG, thanks)
