medanza
I used DVD Shrink to backup my DVD so now when I click on the VIDEO_TS folder on my hard drive, I see all my video files there (BUP, IFO, VOB files). AUDIO_TS folder is empty. But when I drag the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders into ImgBurn, the Information tab on the right hand side says "Unknown" for every single field...Number of Files, Number of Folders, etc. The size is at 0%. I don't understand it. Under Options, only Recurse Subdirectories is checked and I have tried checking and unchecking every box but to no avail. Please help! Thanks. LIGHTNING UK!
They don't change until you actually click the 'Calculate' button. Switch to Advanced input mode if you want immediate updates on size and more control over the disc layout.
medanza
Oh! That was too easy. I've never used the program before and some user tutorials I was reading did not include that step. Thanks much.
ianymaty
You can tick "Auto" box to do the calculation automaticaly when adding/deleting files/folders.
LIGHTNING UK!
I'm not a fan of that myself - which is why I didn't mention it It can get annoying when it prompts every time you add a new folder. I think it's better to do it manually when you actually want that info.
ianymaty
You only get the prompt at the first folder added than not for the rest of the folders. If you add a file first than the folders the prompt will not come out. It shows the prompt again if you delete the rest and remain one single folder. Sure, you know all of that. For me the only info I need from the calculator is the media usage %. I like it like that. I can do all I want and suits my needs in standard window. I didn't feel that I need more advanced input, at least for now.
