Rincewind Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 (edited) See this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 Also please pay more attention to one detail, this is from your log: I 20:25:23 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66) (Speeds: 4x; 6x; 8x) I 20:25:23 Write Speed: 2x W 20:25:23 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 2 770 KB/s (2x), Got: 5 540 KB/s (4x) I 20:34:21 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66) (Speeds: 4x; 6x; 8x) W 20:34:21 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 2 770 KB/s (2x), Got: 5 540 KB/s (4x) I 18:32:58 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RICOHJPN-D00-01) (Speeds: 2,4x) I 18:32:58 Write Speed: 2x 18:32:58 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 2 770 KB/s (2x), Got: 3 324 KB/s (2,4x) Since 2x is not an option, your burner adjusted accordingly. Burning at slowest speed does not necessarily mean producing the best burn possible, in most cases it is the other way around. Also 2x is impossible on any +R media, and 2.4x these days is impossible depending on your drive, since it is usually oversped to 4x or even 6x depending on the version of the firmware. rewan Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 I have cleaned my drive with a cleaning disc. Also i have updated my f/w. Now i have other error. ImgBurn.log
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 At the end of the day, it's still just your drive failing to burn the media. As such, the thread you were linked to earlier still applies.
rewan Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 It means that i have to change my drive or maybe exist other solution?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Well, buy (try) some Verbatim discs ('MKM-001-00' or 'MKM-003-00' MID/dye) or get a new drive, yes.
