kazuma Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 Hey folks, sorry for my bad english, but I´ve got a problem with burning and playing Bluray Disc, I hope anyone can help me. I made a holiday movie with an AVCHD Camcorder from Canon. I cut the movie with Magix Video deluxe, made a menue and burned it as an imagefile (since magix has a problem with my external BD rewriter.) The video has ca. 40GB Now I´ve got three folders: AACS BDMV (which containing the movie I think) and CERTIFICATE When I start imgburn I chose "build". After I put BDMV and the CERTIFICATE Folder in (I heared AACS is not necessary and it can make troubles so I didnt place it, or is that wrong?) I choose UDF 2.50 and then imgburn burned all on a Sony BD-R DL 50GB Disc. imgburn says, everything is ok and the files are at the disc. When I put the disc into my PS3 and check the XMB on Video, the PS3 shows me "BDMV". But when I try to play the disc, I´m gonna kick out into the PS3 menu again. How comes? kazuma Posted August 17, 2011 Author Share Posted August 17, 2011 Another question: Do I really have to switch to UDF 2.50 in imgburn? because when I watch the attributes of the Bluray disc, its says UDF 2.60 is that important or has it to be the same? mmalves Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 BluRay video discs can use UDF 2.50 or 2.60 as BluRay players support both revisions. Your disc burned and verified fine, which means it's a good copy, so the problem could be with the way you made your BD Video or the settings used in Magix Video, and that's out of the help we have in this forum. Have you looked at Doom9 or similar forums? They have a lot more experience with making BD Video discs than we do. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now I included also the AACS folder and it plays on my PS3 and also standalone player! I also switched UDF 2.50 to 2.60 but I dont know whether this was the reason...
