cbow09 Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Hello guys new to the forum, i recently began burning xbox 360 games as backups but the first game i burned (Duke Nukem: Forever) seemed to work perfectly on my flash modded xbox but when you begin gameplay the game just freezes within a minute. I used utorrent to downlaod file (Piratebay.org), i extracted the files to a specific folder, then put the iso file thru abgx 360. Then after i used the smaller img file(1kb) in imgburn and burned at a speed of 2x. I also used Verbatim DVD+R DL 8.5gb as the disc. NOTE: WHEN I WATCHED A YOUTUBE TUTORIAL IT SAID abgx 360 should CREATE A SEPERATE SMALL .DVD FILE BUT WHEN I USE ABGX360 NO .DVD FILE APPEARS AFTER THE STEATH PROCESS. THE FILE I BURN IS ALREADY IN THE FOLDER ALONG WITH THE ISO FILE WHEN I DOWNLOAD THE GAME CAN ANYONE HELP? KNOW WHAT IM DOING WRONG?

LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 You don't seem to have let the program complete the verify phase. When the drive tray gets ejected, just push it back in again so Verify can start. If you did that and it still didn't do anything, your drive probably produced a bad (low quality) burn. Slimline drives are rubbish burners. Update the firmware on your drive - http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_1469-file_TS-L632H_FW_D700.zip.html SP1 is out for Windows 7, you should install it.

Also is there any specific place i should extract it too? Edited August 19, 2011 by cbow09
mmalves Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 You can extract it anywhere, usually the Downloads or the Documents folder. On another note, try this DW30 firmware updater (it's newer than the D700 firmware) and, in case it doesn't work, then try the D700 firmware LUK linked above.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 oops, my bad, I didn't check the notes of the DW30 firmware (where it says 'Dell firmware') and D700 looked to be the newest in the series. Thanks mmalves
