Freakyfabe Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 I've been using Imgburn for years and never had a problem. Just recently, I'm getting this error now when I try to burn disc. Cynthia Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66Free Sectors: 3,827,520 It sees the right sector size if you use better quality media (Verbatim)? There is also later versions of the program to install.
Freakyfabe Posted August 27, 2011 Author Posted August 27, 2011 Thxs for the reply Cynthia. I used the latest version of Imgburn when I started getting this error, so I went back and found earlier versions to see if that would help. I've always used Verbatims and never had any problem. I switched over to the TDK about six months ago and never had a problem with them either. I'll go buy some Verb's just to rule that out also. Will keep you posted...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 That drive is too old to support 'RITEK-S04-66'.
Freakyfabe Posted August 28, 2011 Author Posted August 28, 2011 Well I'm happy to report that the Verb's (Verbatims) solved the problem! I will get a new drive for this machine, I know its old. Thanks for the help.
