Carbo Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I'm a total n00b at this, so please bear with my ignorance. Just installed ImgBurn and trying to burn MP4 files to DVD to watch on the TV through the DVD player. Burning the files seemed easy enough. The completed DVD will play on my laptop, but it won't play on the DVD player. All I see on the TV is the menu screen. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your help.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 If you feed ImgBurn with MP4 files, you'll end up with MP4 files on a disc - it doesn't convert them. If you want a proper DVD Video disc you'll have to convert the files first (using aother program - like DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD) and then burn the output with ImgBurn.
