Posted September 6, 2011 Share Posted September 6, 2011 Your log shows certain bits of info are sometimes missing from it... so I'd say the drive is having issues initialising the media properly - which means it's also likely to produce a coaster when it tries to burn it. Maybe you just had a few bad disks in the spindle? If you've got a cleaning disc handy, try cleaning the drive. Make sure you try burning at all of the supported write speeds.
