coyote Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Is there a way to set default Volume Label = filename, or alternately to blank?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 The default is already blank. The auto generated one (which you're prompted to confirm) may or may not use the filename if other methods fail, I can't remember off hand.

But I see the "Don't Prompt Volume Label" | "Answer No" option does give me "blank" as I hoped. What a great program! (Most settings I've ever seen.)
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Obviously just manually clicking 'No' on that prompt would do the same thing You don't need to prevent the prompt from ever coming up if you don't want to - sometimes you might actually want/like the generated volume label.

True. (But not very often, not often enough to make either clicking No or waiting 30 seconds worth it, hence I appreciate the "Don't Prompt Volume Label" setting!)
