Redpizzi Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Hi Everyone, i wonder if you can help me. Im not sure if the problem is in Imgburn but i have tried everything i can think of and this forum could be my last hope. For a few month now, when i have been burning a disk everything works ok, but it seems to take a big big drain on my Memory. I have 4 GB DDR3 Ram and i have a Quad Core Proccessor, and i never had a problem before, i have run Memory Tests all Passes and All other tests i can think of. My computer performs faster than all computers with my setup using PCmark. But when i burn a disk and try to do something else the computer runs really slow and i get 0 buffer (Not Device Buffer) that is always 100% when i use the computer without IMGBurn i dont have any issues. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks Marc
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Maybe you don't have DMA enabled. Post a log of you burning + verifying something.
Redpizzi Posted September 19, 2011 Author Posted September 19, 2011 Sorry Lightning UK, I am just burning a disk now then i will copy and paste the full log. Thank you..

LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 That looks fine to me. You should install SP1 for Windows 7 though. Look at task manager during a burn and see if anything is taking up (lots of) CPU time.
Redpizzi Posted September 19, 2011 Author Posted September 19, 2011 Burning a Disk and i have 50 processes running. Cpu Usage 1% Physical Memory 20% so nothing is working hard. Something is wrong with my computer and i think it something hardware. It is not the memory it is not the Hard Drive It is not the DVD Drive so i can only be the Processor or the Motherboard. which i dunno how to test them Thanks anyway. guess i will have to look elsewhere...
Redpizzi Posted September 19, 2011 Author Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) why should i install SP1? Scrap that. i have just formatted my HD so that is why i dont have SP1 installed... Edited September 19, 2011 by Redpizzi
ianymaty Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Go on now and update to SP1. It will help your system in stability and security.
