Is there a "format only" option in ImgBurn?

I think I'm experiencing this Windows 7 Blu ray bug.

According to some articles I've read about this it should only show up when burning with the Windows build in software, but I'm getting similar result when doing a backup

on two different third party software also. On both programs the burn fails while writing the last 100-300 MB's. I can burn a 50GB disc just fine when I leave them at 43-45 GB, but this isn't an option when doing backups that span over multiple discs. Bakcup software usually want to write the discs full to make use of the disc full capacity.

 

One of the backup program I'm using requires the discs to be formatted before use.

For that I use the Windows standard formatting tool. I'm thinking that maybe the size is calculated incorrectly at this point and the disc is formatted with an incorrect capacity. Don't know if thats even possible, just guessing here....The reason why I think this is happening is when the burn fails, the programs asks if I want to try again by inserting a new disc with a capacity of at least 47GB. As far as I know, the max for 50 GB discs is 46,62GB

 

So I thought I could get around this problem by using some other formatting tool. Is there a way to do a format only (UDF 2.5) with ImgBurn?

If not, does anyone know what other program I could use to format a disc. Going crazy with this bug, already lost atleast 50 buck worth of discs.

Sorry, that type of formatting isn't possible with ImgBurn.
