LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Post the whole log please. It looks like your drive is just doing a bad job of burning those discs. Slimline drives don't make for good burners. Try selecting one of the slower supported write speeds. Cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc may help too. Did the problem start when you got a new spindle of discs? Maybe they're faulty or not quite identical to your last ones.

I am already writing it at 2.4x and every disk ive used has done this. and that was my whole log. any recommendations?
mmalves Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 The piece of the log you posted shows that disc was burned at max speed (6x with your drive/firmware/media combination). All that you can try has already been outlined above by LUK.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 The software has nothing to do with, it's a hardware error. Your drive has supposedly burnt the disc ok, but the disc still just looks blank after the tray has been cycled and Verify is about to start - hence the error.
