Aone can be two different media codes. Sure the old ones had the same one?

I was using the same packet.

I bought the three 10-packs at the same time.

Where do i find this?

By inserting a previous burned (and working disc) in the drive and in ImgBurn look for this type of row.

I 16:33:51 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RICOHJPN-D01-67) (Speeds: 4x)

For the previously burned ones, you should be able to see it if you enter the read mode and look in the right side of the program.

The other media code they used/use on Aone discs is this one.

When the burner tries to find the best writing strategy it is basing it on these media codes and not on the "brand" of the disc. Some media codes are better supported (not so likely to fail in the burn) by some burners compared to other burners.

i gave one of my disks out of the exact same packet to my mate and he burnt the iso fine with no errors on imgburn, it works fine on my xbox. Why when i burn now i still get this error. (i dont think its the disks)

You can get one from just about any online computer store.

Try an Optiarc 7260 or 7280.

You can get them for about £20

(I got a 7280 for £20.27 off ebay a few weeks ago)

If you want to research their burning capabilities with the media you use, head over to the MyCE forums and read the threads covering those drives.
