unknown2u Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Hey I'm new and desperate I know it's old, but i've got a video camera that uses DV cassettes, so I have to use a DVD recorder in order to put them on a DVD. I now have 4 DVDs from 8 cassettes. I want to make a copy of each but have encountered problems with tons of programs and Imgburn was the only one to save me. Until now... I have made a BIN file of one of the DVDs and burned and everything went perfect. Now I'm trying another one, it gets to 99% and then I get this error: I\O Error! Device: [2:0:0]HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H10A JL01 (H:)(ATA) ScsiStatus: 0x02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: 28 00 00 18 30 40 00 00 01 00 Interpretation: Read (10) - Sector: 1585216 Sense Area: F0 00 08 00 18 30 40 10 00 00 03 0C AB 80 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: Unknown (ASC: 0xAB, ASCQ: 0x80) Here's my log: I 19:31:59 Operation Started! Can anyone save me? I've been through hell in order to copy these DVDs... Thanks in advance
unknown2u Posted October 7, 2011 Author Posted October 7, 2011 And another question, How come 2 of DVDs don't show one of the cassette in the DVD menu..? I thought I forgot one but it doesn't make sense that 2 of them went bad or something... because the other 2 are just fine. It's like a "title" is missing in 2 DVDs..
Cynthia Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I 19:31:59 Source Media Type: DVD-R (Book Type: DVD-R) (Disc ID: CMC MAG. AM3) (Speeds: 4x, 8x, 16x) You have some better quality media you can try with?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 You should install the latest ImgBurn. What you're doing (reading a multisession/track DVD disc) will never work with previous versions of the program.
unknown2u Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 Dude! LIGHTNING UK! Thanks! I was surprised because I downloaded Imgburn 2 weeks ago and already there's a new version It forced me to use "Build" and it worked. But I still wonder how come it worked with the other DVD... Oh and any idea why 2 DVDs didn't get 1 on the cassettes? I guess i'll try to record again but it's just weird... Thank you! I knew you'll save me! XD
unknown2u Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 Oh and I'm using Silverline extreme DVD-R 16x Is it not good enough?
