mmalves Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 On another note, you should enable Windows Update.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 ...and stop using the Patin Couffin I/O Interface. Put it back on SPTI.
wantafanta01 Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 i couldnt get it to burn on stpi but ive had 3-4 successfull burns on patin couffin i/o interface
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 ...and now you have problems on that too. The I/O interface has nothing to do with these problems. Patin Couffin is dead - even the people that made it don't use it on modern OS's.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 It's all the same thing, your drive is unable to burn to the media. mmalves already linked you to it but I guess I should do it again. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
wantafanta01 Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 i think my problem is me trying to burn on a macbook pro... could this be it?
mmalves Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 The problem is that your burner doesn't like the media you're using, and all slimline burners are rubbish, so you need to use high quality media in order to get good burns, as the link we posted above says. If you feel like wasting a couple more discs then try burning one at 4x and another at 6x to see if they work, and make sure Verify is enabled!
wantafanta01 Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 alright thanks, ill pick up some verbatims and see if they work
