d.allen101 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Hello, I'm new to burning and would like to know how do I go about burning an iso that's been compressed into a rar file? I've download a piece of software but it looks like a rar(books icon) file but the file extension is iso? What am I expected to do in order to burn this iso to a disk? Thanks in advance, -Dee
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 If the extension is ISO, it's an ISO file and you burn it as such. (i.e. you burn it normally!) The fact it has an icon you'd usually see being used for RAR files just means WinRAR has been associated with ISO files. You can turn that off in its settings.
