i/o error when verfing wii disc

hi am new to burning wii games have been looking about to find the best way to burn games have used imgburn and nero and both have bot burnd the game that i am trying to burn here is a log that has come from igmburn

done it at 8x speed still didnt work can you say a good drive that i could replace mine with that would do it no problem

It's some combination of your drive/firmware/media.

 

Changing any one of the three could potentially fix the issue.

 

You might have more luck with some decent Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden discs - and I'd actually recommend you start using those even if you do get a new / better drive.

ok brought the discs that you say are good for the games and it said successful but when i put the dvd in the wii it comes up no ciso / or dvd-r is there another program that i need to burn games here is the report from the burn

You should put the verify speed back on MAX, there's no point in artificially limiting it.

 

If there's a problem reading at max speed, you'd *want* to know about it (even if it works at 8x ok).

 

The burn and verify were both successful. So in your burner at least, there's nothing wrong with the disc. If your wii has a problem with it, maybe that's its problem (or a problem with what you're burning).
