iturner5150 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 OpenSuSE 11.4 Wine 1.2 In settings IO I have ASPI - WNASPI32.DLL selected (the dll file is in my Wine Windows System32 folder) In Wine config, I have the DVD drive set as /dev/sr0 which is where it is (I can put in a dvd and that is the location in the nav bar), however I cannot browse to that location in Wine config When I click autodetect, nothing changes, it shows as /dev/sr0 still The drive is detected in K3B and burns with that, no issues. I had ImgBurn working great in OpenSuSE 11.3, but my drive failed and now that I have a new install I can't seem to make it work again. ImgBurn does images so much better than K3B and I miss it Any suggestions would be appreciated. I googled for help the past 2 days and tried various things that helped other, but none of it helped in my case Thanks in advance I 18:45:08 ImgBurn Version 2.5.6.0 started! mmalves Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Wine has ASPI built-in, and Nero's ASPI is just a wrapper for SPTI, so delete your WNASPI32.DLL file and it should work.

Ok, I went into /home/admin/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32 and renamed wnaspi32.dll to wnaspi32.dll_ but ImgBurn still doesn't detect my burner. The splash screen took slightly longer to load, and the ImgBurn menu displayed the message 'Our artillary will shake them up' or something similar, which I'd never noticed before. But it still didn't detect the drive Thanks for your suggestion though Any other ideas? mmalves Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Now that you renamed the file, try again the Autodetect devices button in Wine's config.
