About two hours ago I successfully burnt onto a disc out of a brand new pack of Verbatim 8x DVD+R DL disc's. Now however when I insert another disc from the pack ImgBurn wont let me burn as it says "Disc Not Empty". I have ejected and reinserted the disc(s) many times and this hasn't helped, I also rebooted my machine which again didn't help. I am running ImgBurn 2.5.6.0

Your drive isn't initialising the disc properly.

If it's just discs from a new spindle, try another spindle.

You could also try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc.

Hi, thanks for your quick response. I have tried new discs and have also used a cleaning disk and the problem persists. What should I do? Thanks
