Urosq Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Hi there, i have been using Imgburn for quite a time now and i must say that is an Awesome software I am using Verbatim disc's and so far so good But now i got this I/O error, here's a screenshot : I have tried to burn files using the plain burning ( select the files in explorer and then just click burn ) but that too doesnt work :@ I have this error for a couple of days and i just cant burn anything, not rar's not iso's. LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Please don't follow that guide, it's all wrong/complete rubbish. You don't ever want to force PIO mode. Update the firmware on your drive - http://www.firmwarehq.com/Pioneer/DVR-112D/files.html Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. Burn at the other supported write speeds - there's nothing to say 4x will produce the best quality burn - obviously in your case it isn't working at all!
