justaman08 Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Hello ..trying to get info on why my drive doesn't read the disc i put into it. And that applies for every disc I put in. The ImgBurn notes that Device not ready(Mediun Not Present) any HELP would be appriciated.

I Forgot to metion that convert to dvd program does......and that i have another dvd but player only ,connected to the writter, does the last inflict with the first?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Please copy + paste everything from the log window. If you go into Write mode (write image file to disc) when there's no disc in the drive and then insert a disc, you should notice the message in the statusbar at the bottom of the main window changing. If it just ends up on 'medium not present', I don't see how any other program can be working - unless that 'medium not present' error code is a false one supplied by a filter driver.
