 hi all

to get your writer to copy try this out it worked for me.

open my computer then right click on your bluray drive then select properties.select hardware then double click on your bluray drive, you'll see it listed probably the top one in the list.click dvd region then scroll down to uk,click it and if you was not on region 2 it will ask you if you want to change to region 2 just click ok.you should now have showing in current region box (region 2)click ok then ok again on next box and hopefully you can write with no trouble it worked for me.

p.s by the way i think this writers slowest speed is 4x on bluray, good luck people & hope this helps.

Which thread are you referring to? I'll move your post to the right place.

Typically, a proper software DVD player (so that's something like PowerDVD) will set a new drive's (i.e. where no regional code has been set) regional code to the same as the disc's regional code.

If the drive's regional code isn't set or mismatched to the disc, it's not normally possible to query the drive for the decryption key. My old program used to warn people about such issues when they were detected.
