No Bluray will copy/burn

I don't know if I am in the right place so if not, please forgive me. For a week I have had trouble figuring out what I am doing wrong. Every time I try and burn or copy a disc or image it always fails at the beginning of the second part of the process at "Writing Lead-In" when I insert the blank disc. I am using Verbatim 25GB BD-RE 6x blank discs. I can rip movies and use DVDFAB HD to put them on the hard drive and I have tried burning and copying DVDs and they work, however, I am unable to copy or burn to Bluray at all. I have used all three discs the Verbatim pack came with, tried three different Bluray movies, made sure my Bluray burner Firmware is up-to-date, etc... The burner has great reviews and seeing how it burns DVDs perfectly and rips just fine, I can't see that it is defective.

Here is the log from the DVDFAB HD/IMGBURN attempt:

LiteON ATAPI iHBS212

Windows 7 64 bit

DVDFAB 8.1.5.9

IMGBURN 2.5.6.0

Regardless of the program or version, it will still not work. I have used the new Nero, Imgburn, DVDFAB HD and Cyberlink Suite. Sorry for all the info but if anyone has any ideas that may help me before I ship this back to Newegg, I would very much appreciate it!

Thanks again,

Dylan

So I slowed the burning down to 2.4x and 4x and it seemed to work 2 out of 3 times which is awesome. The main question I have now is why can I not burn at 6x? If the blank advertises a 6x speed, wouldn't it make sense? If 4x is the fastest I can burn, then where is a good place to buy larger packs than 3 for a decent brand/price? I got these few from Best Buy so the price was jacked up. Thanks again for the help.
