jydjohnny Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Hey guys, I'll get right to the point. I burned a double layer dvd with imgburn and was successful. It was verified and everything. however I've put the dvd in 3 different media players and not one of them can recognize the dvd not even the computer i burned it on. The dvd i used to burn on were verbatim AZO 8x dvd+R DL. Used my Toshiba Satellite A665 laptop with i7 core, the drive i use is Optiarc DVD RW AD-7703S 1.T0 I really can't figure out why if the disc was a successful burn why it can not be recognized please if anyone can help i'd be very appreciative. Thanks

Cynthia Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 I 00:03:55 Source File File System(s): None You need a file system. Mount the image with something like this and build a new image through ImgBurn. http://www.dvdfab.com/virtual-drive.htm
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 I'm not sure that would work Cynthia. To me, it looks like 'Disc 2.iso' is incomplete/corrupt. Create it again from the source files/disc.
jydjohnny Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 (edited) If it helps any, I used pinnacle studio to create the image, then used imgburn to write it to the disc Edited February 6, 2012 by jydjohnny
jydjohnny Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 Could it be that I saved it as an ISO, Should i try creating the image as a IMG or BIN
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 You need to go back to pinnacle studio and recreate the ISO. It messed up the first time. Personally, I'd tell Pinnacle to just output a VIDEO_TS folder (with IFO/VOB/BUP files) and then make ImgBurn 'Build' the ISO instead.
jydjohnny Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 Thanks guys, I got it working. Great advice Lightning UK, worked like a charm. I guess pinnacle can't handle building its own disc image. Thanks again
