File extention and errors.

Hi. I'm trying to burn a bootable disc of Macpup and Imgburn is doing all sorts of weird things. I've attached a jpg of the error which will hopefully show up. In the pic it shows the icon for Macpup coming up as a nice little Macpup_Foxy_2.0.iso file on the desktop (lower left). I put it into Imgburn and it shows up as Desktop.mds. I get the error in the pic no matter what I do. Any suggestions? I'm running Windows 7 Home. Thnx for any help.

I have Macpup Foxy 2.0. Its labelled that in the properties as well but every time I add the file to burn in Imgburn it shows in the program as Desktop.mds. I get the error in the screen dump above. I have a friend that uses this software and he doesn't get the error like I do. He's stumped too. Suggestions?

Open Explorer (My Computer) and browse to the desktop folder.

Take a screenshot of what's visible.

Make sure you've turned off the 'Hide file extensions for known files' option in 'Folder Options' within Control Panel - so I can see the full file name including the file extension.

Please also upload the mds file (zip it or whatever) so I can check it.

Eh?

The 'Desktop.mds' file I need to look at is in 'C:\Users\Julie\Documents' - as per your initial screenshot.

You appear to have missed my request for this to be done.

Why are you even loading Desktop.mds in the first place?

Why can't you just load Macpup_Foxy_2.0.iso ?
