Copnm Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Hello Imgburn family, I have been burning discs for a long time and have recently adjusted the way I burn. I now use Opti Drive Control to check the best burn speed for each disc prior to burning. I have a few discs I've burned prior to knowing this and have checked the quality of them using both Nero DiscSpeed and Opti Drive Control. These discs have high PIF (4+). I'm wondering if I can rip from the bad discs and re-burn them or should I just burn another copy straight from the source?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Yes, you can just make an image of the 'bad' disc and reburn. If the drive can't read the disc and returns an error, revert to using the source.
Copnm Posted February 20, 2012 Author Posted February 20, 2012 Thanks for your quick reply, Lightning. I will reburn all the 'bad' discs.
