snowfi6916 Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 I am trying to change the book type for my DVD burner to "DVD-ROM" so that my dual layer DVD will play in my Xbox 360. Because I did research, I know that the manufacturer for Optiarc drives is NEC. However, none of the options under the NEC tab in the "Change Book Type" menu work for me. I keep getting the following error message: "Invalid Command Operation Code" I have recently updated the firmware to JD06, but I am still getting the same error messages. Has anyone been able to successfully change the book type for their Optiarc DVD drive? Again, my model is: Optiarc AD-7640A JD06 DVD+-RW Thanks. LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 You shouldn't have to do anything special. Just but your VIDEO_TS folder as per the guides in the 'Guides' section of the forums.
