spruce Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Hi I followed the audio guide to make a cue file and then burnt the disk using this que. The disk ended up with Track 1, track 2, track 3 etc. I wanted the file names of the pieces of music instead of track numbers. I could see them in the que file when I used notepad++ Is there some box in the process that I have forgot to tick that will transfer the names onto the audio disk. TIA
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Audio tracks don't have names and they aren't real files. The best you can do is add CD-TEXT info to the disc and use a player that supports reading it.
spruce Posted June 3, 2012 Author Posted June 3, 2012 I tried it in VLC player and the track details came up on the VLC header. so that is progress
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 The guide does mention the CD-TEXT stuff and that many software players don't support it. If you usually just use VLC then that's fine, you're obviously sorted in that department. If you use the Media Player ever then there's a plug-in available for it - and that's mentioned/linked in the Audio CD guide too.
