was04 Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I'd like to know why everytime I do a conversion in ConvertxtoDvd or DVDflick and burn in Imgburn I get a "this is end of the world". It happens only in 8.5GB mode. I followed this guide with no success http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6376 In that last screen(create layer break operation), the option is always "average". So, when I play in my standalone DVD, the movie freezes at certain point. Is it a problem with ConvertXtoDVD? DvdFlick? Imgburn? Everybody goes thru this when burning a DL DVD?? Unfortunatelly, I don't have the last log because, in the main window, Imgburn log, I've marked "all" and "cut". What a stupid I am . There's no undo option.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 You are just trying to burn a VIDEO_TS folder yeah and not an ISO? If your folders/projects don't totally fill up the disc, it'll be a lot easier to move stuff around and then you won't see the 'end of the world' message. The message comes from there not being enough decent places to split the data (whilst keeping to the DVD Video specs). If there were more cells or chapter points in the video, it wouldn't be a problem... so really it comes down to the programs creating the IFO/VOB/BUP files. If you don't cut or copy anything else having done 'Cut' in the log window, the info will still be in the clipboard, just paste it.
was04 Posted July 4, 2012 Author Posted July 4, 2012 You are just trying to burn a VIDEO_TS folder yeah and not an ISO? Yes, a VIDEO_TS folder. If your folders/projects don't totally fill up the disc, it'll be a lot easier to move stuff around and then you won't see the 'end of the world' message. The message comes from there not being enough decent places to split the data (whilst keeping to the DVD Video specs). So you're saying if I adjust some settings in CxtoDVD / DVDFlick to occupy, let's say, 95% of the disc, I will not get "the end of the world"?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 That'll give it more room to move things around, I can't say for sure it'll always work around the problem though. Try it and see!
