I tried to write a BD folfer to a Verbatim BD-R 25 GB.

After a while the work stopped and I received a i/O error messaage.

I've attached the log file and the full error message.

Any idea about what's going on will be appreciated

Addenda: I tried a second time using a Momorex BD-r. This time, apparently, there was no problem with the burning. But ImgBurn couldn't verify. First there was a message about a failure to close the tray, that being usual with laptop computers. But I was using a desktop computer, the tray was closed and when I tried to open and clsoe it again there was a message saying Device not ready (The parameter is incorrect). The resulting disc couldn't be read or even recognized on my computer or on my BD player.

New log attached.

If your drive is having problems burning to those 'RITEK-BR2-000' MID discs at 'Maximum' (10x) speed, try slowing the 'Write Speed' down a bit to 4x, 8x etc. Same goes for the 'VERBAT-IMc-000' MID discs.

Can you also please right click the drive selection box when you're in Write mode and pick the 'Family Tree' option. Close the prompt that pops up and copy + paste everything from the Log window.

Thanks for your reply. I'll try again, reducing the speed.

In the meantime here is the Family Tree you requested:

I 20:21:30 Family Tree:

I 20:21:30 -> ACPI x64-based PC

I 20:21:30 -> Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System

I 20:21:30 -> PCI bus

I 20:21:30 -> Intel® ICH10R SATA AHCI Controller (VEN_8086&DEV_3A22 - Intel - iaStor - v10.1.0.1008)

I 20:21:30 -> CD-ROM Drive (PIONEER BD-RW BDR-206) (0)

Slowing the writing speed to 4x solved it.

I hadn't thought about it because I never had a problem in the past burning DVD's or BD's with ImgBurn at full speed.

Well, always there's a first time.

Thank you very much for your help
