Just upgraded from 2.4.? to 2.5.7, and try as I might I cannot avoid the parent folder coming with a file, files or folder when I try to build an image. This happens whether I drag and drop in the Layout Editor, or use the Add Files button to inject into the host folder. I end up with the parent folder as well as the objects inside it sitting in my host folder. I only want the objects in my host folder.

Any ideas?

Oh, that is so annoying. Thank you, L-UK. My only excuse [and it's a goodie] is that I'm pretty new to this.

So many options, so many settings, so much to learn... i just wanna press the big green button

Default settings should work out of the box for most of the users.

Don't mess with the settings unless you know what you're doing.

Lesson learned. :)

I didn't think I did change any parameters much, just filename length ones. I can only think that when I typed in volume names above that setting I clicked outside the text box to terminate entry and accidentally lit up that checkbox - it is live to input clear across the width of that section. I know that now, too.

It's all fun, except for this: Isolinux disk error 01; AX=4280[, drive EF]

-got that twice, and no idea where to start with it. Cannot find a listing of such errors [isolinux disk error 01; AX=4280] [it's a clean CD-RW.] All I can find is that it could be RAID related; I don't use it any more, but it's configured still. Dropping to AHCI may help.

Gee, what tripe I wrote there. Talk about not being on the same page!

I don't mind if you pick me up on stuff like that. As long as you are delicate.... :)

Anyway.... I decided that google result about RAID was tripe too, and didn't change anything. Too much effort, too. Error 4280 appears to be about misreads, or read information not complete... and that had to be marginal burning on CD-RWs. I tried another, fairly new disc, and Bingo.

Comprehensive program, L-UK.
