Why does ImgBurn 2.5.7.0 (format 50% of all DVD+RWs each time before writing the actual data?

Hello all,

I use ImgBurn 2.5.7.0 and I am sick and tired of the program to format approx. 50% of all DVD+RWs each time before writing the actual data :( :(

Why is this?

Look at the disc info in the box on the right of the screen.

In there you should see a line starting with 'Formatted:'.

If what follows that isn't a 'Yes', ImgBurn will try to format the disc properly so that it does say 'Yes'.

There should be no need to erase/format a disc again once it says 'Yes', ImgBurn will overwrite what's on it over and over again without a problem.

If some other application burns to the disc and messes up the format, it may change back from 'Yes' to something else - and I expect that's where your problem is coming from.
