Imgburn crashes the computer as it starts the verify part of a burn. It still creates a usable DVD, it just crashes the computer and does not verify the disc.

I dont think ImgBurn crashes your computer, maby upgrade your OS to Windows 7 and upgrade your RAM to at least 4GB because your probably running hidden programs that use alot of RAM

Indeed, applications can't really crash Windows, only drivers do that.

 

You should examine the minidump file to see what actually crashed it - assuming you meant you got a 'blue screen of death' ?
