deeeyeseekay Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I know the burner works because i used it before to burn games but i did it on my desktop, i now have everything on my laptop for some reason i cant get it to detect, is there a certain kind of dvd i need or what ahhhh
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Please post the log - as per the pink box up the top. So as to not waste anyone's time, please make sure the drive is visible in My Computer / Explorer first. Until it is, ImgBurn won't be able to see it. The best way to do that would be to bring up 'My Computer' ('Computer') with the drive disconnect and then connect/turn on the external drive. You should see another drive suddenly appear in the 'My Computer' window.
deeeyeseekay Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 how do i go about making it visible, i see the drive on the 'COMPUTER' ... i right clicked and went to properties and did all that and it says its on...
deeeyeseekay Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 if you have skype please add me DeeEyeSeeKay, or even teamviewer if you have that
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I would still like to see the log please. Just copy + paste everything from the Log window.
deeeyeseekay Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 here you go, it detects it at first but when i load the blank cd in there it goes away
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Ok so this is a problem outside of ImgBurn then. Try a new USB cable, different USB port etc. It could also be the PSU for the drive.
deeeyeseekay Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 ok once i try all that and if nothing works, then what is the PSU ?
deeeyeseekay Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 so basically buy a new burner? lol
