theobynight Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Hi there! Only got basic knowledge in burning so I would like some help. I Just burned an .iso file to a DVD+RW using imgburn and everything worked well, but.. To my final disk I would like to add a folder with some files and there is empty space left on the dvd. How do I add those files correctly? My 'burning noob' knowledge tells me that the burner program have "closed" the burning session ( dont know the exact terms here) and therefore wont let me add more files now. How do I proceed? Thanks,Theo
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Sorry, you can't do that with ImgBurn. It doesn't do multisession. You could extract the contents of the ISO to your hdd somewhere, add the folder you want to add and then burn the new compilation.

This way, my final dvd will work exactly the same as if I burn directly from the .iso? obviously with my added files =) and thanks for such quick answer!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Well, that depends on what type of disc it is As it's only a rewritable (and assuming you still have a copy of the ISO safe somewhere), try it and see.

Great, many thanks! Will post here how it went, in case someone else have the same question later on
theobynight Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 Ok I had to settle with 2 dvds, one burned from .iso and one with the extra files. When I tried to copy everything back to the dvd, with the extra files, the disc wasn't bootable. Guess there are workarounds like with everything else but I cant be bothered
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Ah yes, bootable discs have to be made bootable using the options on the 'Bootable Disc' tab.
