cardzetc Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 I used Anydvd to rip and remove region code, to an ISO into my documents and then used Imgburn to make a disc. The disc was made seccessfully but will not play properly in my Samsung 3D player. I have gone thru slysoft and with their help found no problem with Anydvd. The disc will play in arcsoft program in 2D. I ddon't know if there is a problem with Imgburn or maybe the disc itself. I have had no other problem backing up my 3D before and really need to know what my problem might be and the fix for that problem, thank you.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 If it burnt and verified ok, there's nothing more for us to help with really. Did it? Perhaps you could post a log so we can see how the burn went? (as per the pink box up the top )
cardzetc Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 Everything said it went fine, but all the disc does is pixalate or freeze, this is the first time I have had this problem. I have two Samsung 3D blu-ray players different models and they have not had any updates since I bought them, over a year and a half ago. I know I have played Cinavia protected disc on them before without any trouble. Could it be Cinavia has done something new, or just a bad disc, or maybe a false positive from Imgburn? Please explain what may be another option, before I try and burn another disc. I hate to waste a disc, because they are not cheap, and therefore need expert help before jumping into the deep end, thank you.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 There won't be a problem in ImgBurn causing this. It burnt what you gave it and if it verified ok, the data on the disc matches the source ISO. If you want additional confirmation of that, mount the ISO in a virtual drive program and do a folder compare (using something like Beyond Compare) between the real drive (burnt disc) and the virtual drive (image). If your player is just freezing because it can't read the disc, try some other discs. You could get a decent BD-RE DL for testing purposes, then you don't need to waste discs ever again. I'd still like to see the log file please. You can access old logs via the Help menu.
cardzetc Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 I recieved MIB 3 3D region B, and performed the correct process, which I have done many times with region A or region free 3D disc's and had no problems at all. I set everything up to remove the region code and make the disc region free. The disc went thru all portions of the process rip and burn, and always said it was O.K. I put the disc into 2 different 3D players and the 3D portion of the disc won't play, it looks like it's pixalating or will freeze up, but if I choose the 2D version of the movie it will play perfectly. So the region code was removed successfully, but the 3D portion of the disc is bad, What could cause this problem? Is anyone else having that problem with the region B MIB 3 3D, after trying to remove the region code?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 If the players having trouble with the 3D version will play the 2D version (from the same disc) perfectly, I'd say there's an issue with your source image file. Go back to SlySoft. That is of course assuming the players will play the original disc (both 2D and 3D). Without knowning that info, there's no way to know where the problem lies - original disc or AnyDVD.
