Failed to set write parameters...

I've been using ImgBurn fine and then suddenly it stopped working. I bought some cheap DVDs and suddenly in the middle of writing a DVD, it stopped and said media not available even though it was in the tray.

 

Now when I try to burn something again, it doesn't start burning and automatically gives me the error "Failed to set parameters".

 

Is something wrong with my drive, or what happened...? Here's the log....

Tried using Verbatims again and a diff program but I get the same error.

Install the current release of ImgBurn.

 

Make sure you've totally powered down your machine (not just rebooted it) and turned it on again.

 

Don't cut the log, post the full thing next time please.

You're a life saver, thanks so much! I was ready to call in the warranty on my comp and buy a new burner.

 

It worked after I shut the computer down completely. Reboot-only did not work...how weird
